Priced transfers exclude missing prices, payments of £1 or less, and consideration that differs from the declared market value. Address counts count each address once per year; prices use individual records. Multiple titles or changing addresses may appear separately, so these are not counts of confirmed house sales. Asking prices are excluded.
A little history before your next move.
Search the government’s land transaction records from November 2000 onwards. Choose an address to see its recorded prices and changes over time. Where we have a matching public listing, its asking prices and photographs appear alongside the history.
The extract includes homes, commercial property and land. It does not contain every sale, and recent transactions may take months to appear.

Records can arrive late and may include land, multiple titles or transfers other than open-market sales. An address match does not confirm unchanged boundaries. Rows with invalid or inconsistent dates are withheld. Missing records do not mean a property has never sold. Report an incorrect match or price.
