Ramsey Commissioners say they’ll be remembering four servicemen from the town who laid down their lives in World War I.
It’s part of a series of events to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the war, and will see board members and the Ramsey Branch of the Royal British Legion place a cross on the town’s war memorial.
On Thursday March, 30th they’ll commemorate the life of Driver Caesar Corlett, with Private Vincent Stephen receiving a ceremony on April 2nd and Private Claude Henry Richmond being remembered two days later before Private Sydney Parkinson Richardson is honoured on April 13th.
The commissioners say if any relatives who would like to attend they should contact the Town Hall.
