Weather forecasters are warning the Island could face localised flooding later.

Ronaldsway Met Office says a band of rain is due to sweep the Island during the late afternoon and evening.

No official weather warning has been issued, but the Met Office says the rain will turn heavy later.

Gale force winds are also expected overnight, with gusts possibly of around 50mph in exposed spots.
